Hi!I'm Evelyn (林鈺琳)
A single talk led me into the world of product and UI/UX design. On this path, I’ve always held onto a heart of serving others🫶: while understanding others, I keep exploring inward too, hoping to become a more well-rounded designer who sparks fresh ideas with the team.
Outside of work, I love dancing💃, running🏃🏻♀️➡️, hiking🗻, and reading📖. These everyday pursuits broaden my perspective, keep my curiosity about the world and thirst for knowledge alive, and are my most effective way to de-stress. Whenever I return to work mode, it’s like hitting a cache-clear button: I can always meet every challenge with the most open mindset!
Design Philosophy
I believe the core skill every designer needs is learning to "find the problem that truly needs solving." Design starts with empathy — first learning to "empty yourself," embracing diverse perspectives and feedback — only then can design stay flexible enough to co-create better products!
Professional Strengths
My background in biotechnology sharpened my experimental mindset and logical analysis skills, making me a bridge across disciplines. My edge lies in combining creative design thinking with front-end implementation — ensuring usability, consistency, and technical feasibility.
Growth Direction
Lately I've been deepening my focus on Design Systems, AI x design workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and user research, hoping to drive a more efficient and impactful design process within the team.
Community Activities
Through design communities and continuing-education courses, exchanging ideas with designers from different fields not only sparks more ideas in discussion and breaks me out of everyday thinking, but also shapes a more concrete worldview for my career.
Collaboration
Elly Chang
Deputy Sales Manager
Evelyn is a warm and highly communicative designer, especially when it comes to cross-department communication — she's remarkably skilled at seeing things from others' perspectives and effectively balancing the gaps in understanding between different teams, so every project wraps up smoothly. What's impressed me most during our collaboration is her initiative and sense of responsibility. Whenever others are swamped, Evelyn always steps in to help — not only getting her own work done quickly, but also being the reliable teammate who supports everyone else when needed! I believe her thoughtfulness and drive would bring a positive influence to any team she joins, helping the team build better products and grow together.
Amber Zhu
Training Manager
Evelyn is a collaborator I trust completely — her design skills are outstanding, she handles collaborative work carefully and efficiently, and her communication soft skills are truly professional-level. Working with her is always a back-and-forth of healthy communication where we both grow together — it's been a real pleasure collaborating with her!
Polly Lin
Product Designer
Throughout every project we divided up and carried out together, I found Evelyn not only considerate of the team but also deeply responsible — things always got done efficiently. We often shared tools and tutorials and learned from each other. Working with Evelyn helped me grow, and we always completed our tasks smoothly!
